2009 Spring: strawberry picking

One of the outdoor activities here in New York City  in this time of year  (spring till summer)  is fruit picking.

Fruit picking includes, apple picking, peach picking, cherry picking and even peking duck.

Frankly, of  all these years living in New York City,  I had have never been in a strawberry farm.  Today, we are going to travel  one an a half hour  outside New York City to see the STRAWBERRY PLANTATION.

The deal for this type of outdoor activity is to  bring your own food.  Here are the regular food we usually prepare for the occasion. Simple yet, katakam-takam!

Child labor with proper attire is acceptable.	We drove this far and experienced how it was to pick the fruit of the land.
Wet Ground	Back ache after the cheap labor is not our problem
