One Saturday morning in Brooklyn Part 1

NYC Tour Bus
NYC Tour Bus

Lingon ka sa kaliwa at sa kanan  delis, restaurants  and clothings from the designers with letter Ms naman.

May nagbibiseklita din just like Barrio Siete

      Interesting…

      Love.
      You use the word “love”.
Love which is real, you know.
      How deep is your love?
      Can we really quantify/qualify love?

If you follow your feeling at love at first sight, please do the following right at that moment.

      Step 1. Opening Prayer: https://exodians.wordpress.com/2008/03/07/breaking-the-silence/

Prayer’s Full Dosage in addition to the regular prayers: (Lord’s prayer, Novena, Rosaryo and Mama Perpetual Help’s prayers (Generic: Hail Mary, Hail Holy Queen, Salve Regina and personal Mother of Perpetual Help made up prayers by (state my name) not approved by Vatican,
Pray this 10 times a day for 23 years.

Step 2. Listen or watch this video every three-six-nine-twelve MONTHS/YEAR/CENTURY.

A must to do: You are required/must know how to sing “My Way” in a karaoke.

Warning: In real life/social clubs, please don’t sing this song no matter how drunk you are unless the “crowd” ask for it.
      * * *

Step 3. The picture is mine/ours/the community unless I specify. You are allowed to embed it in one of your blogs – any blogs it could be commercial/non-commercial blog.

Frankly, I prefer if you can open a wordpress.com account and blog it there.

      ***

Personal Issues: Do I have to vandalize those pictures because someone love it?

Do I have to put these vandals – – such as http://www.exodians.org, https://exodians.wordpress.com, photograph by MAGALING NAPAKAGALING, galing-galingan NA Kodaker!, OR photographed by name them. Hey, that is your right! It is not illegal to put the names/marks/vandals/ in those pictures…

      ah! possessions…mine with my marks.
Can’t do it. Picture pretty, yes.
      Mark with it? Ugly.
      Pretty yet ugly.
      Delete the ugliness.
We are not talking Imeldific here.
Delete? then what is the protection?
People are just mean and cold.
      They steal other’s works.
Other’s work of art in Photography
      Because they called themselves “professionals”
      Wow, they set the standard
      In their own rights?
      Or in their own crowd.

      But for goodness sake…
and it doesn’t mean, my word is right…
VANDALISM!, I am not the Pope.
Vandalism! I am not the Ayatollah!
      Vandalism!
I am the …soldier who will follow whatever you say.

But if the “crowd” will say no, “I am wrong” then hey, what is the alternative?

      Don’t mind it, random thoughts.

      ***

To make my story short, please if you could blog about it is really appreciated. Give us here a link. From there, I have a reason to plagiarize your entry.

      Salamat sa visit.

parang sa dubai may tour bus pero mas makulay dyan. i like the food may brokoli hehe. omelet yan ano? alam mo ser darbs wala pa akong nakikitang masyadong vandal sa dingding dito sa dubai. di pa kasi aral at nagkakasungay ang mga lokal dito. hehe i mean very tradional pa din ang karamihan kasi.

    • darbs said

@Dencio, here is what you said: Tour bus ng dubai mas makulay!

      Omelet,

      you are right.

But the truth is, I could cook better than that.

Lot’s and lots of broccoli, ang tawag ko is Brokoling Initlogan.

Unlike what I ordered, see picture, “Itlog at katiting na Broccoli” with isang kusing na Beacon. Price including drinks and tips: Around $ 10.00 dollars and change.

      $1.99 – 1 dozen of egg
      $2.00 – lbs broccoli
      $1.50 – Rye/Wheat Bread

      * * *

Lets see… VANDALISM parang part na ata yan ng new york city.

Never thought about that. You don’t believe itong mga vandalizers dito parang may sa spider men. hahaha!

I still like traditional. Mas safe kasi kesa deviant.

      • dencios said

        guess wat ser darbs?

nagluto ako ng omelet not for brekpas but for dinner haha

since wala akong much pera to afford brokoli e sitaw na lang. mahal kasi ang brokoli sa dubai (exported kasi)

ayun nilagyan ko ng tuna overloaded and egg at sitaw at kamatis at etc.

tingin ko mahal ang $10 dollar for a meal.🙂

        nakwento ko lang😀

        • darbs said

tingin ko mahal ang $10 dollar for a meal

          Salamat sa kwentong pang bayan.

          Yap, I agree.

          Expensive. It is impractical.

Why spent $10 dollars for breakfast?
          The only gain is labor/services.

The question is…for $10 dollars you feel like a king. Relax ka lang in a nice cozy place.

However, I am not a big eater. So here is what happened.

I personally, cut the omelet in three equal portions; looking forward for the following meals.

          Breakfast
          Lunch
          Dinner

Wrap two slices with a napkin and then ask for a brown bag. Put the brown bag in the side and enjoy the omelet slice.

The waiter asked me, “are you on diet?”

Was I sensitive? or what? because I wanted to tell him – YOU SARCASTIC Racist Anti-Dieter! SOB!

But no, that is what he wants me to react… confirmation of his stereo type. Am I paranoid?

At the end… milli second decision…I did not pay any attention because there was no use.

          New york’s Prayer.
Leave me in peace alone while I am enjoying my diet menu.
If you don’t and keep on taunting me and name names, despite of my silence… remember in the code of ethics in tipping, now, I have a reason not to give you your tip. I will walk out and never return.

Now that I am identified as a bad tipper then I could not eat in that restaurant again… never… ever! unless, you fire that waiter. hahaha!

          Trabaho lang boss, walang personalan.

Question why ask for the waiter’s head?
Has anybody heard about The food spitters brigade? Member ang damuhong un. ba’t sya nandoon?

You don’t want to be their victims. ieeewww. yes. Kahit saan may kalokohan kaya be kind to animals. hahaha!

          @Dencio, salamat sa dalaw.

          • dencios said

well dito pala u cant go wrong if u want to go doggy bag kasi most of their serbidoras/ros and managers are Filipinossss even in the most classy eateries found here in the land of fake sands haha so they would understand na nagtitipid ka😀

one more thing i noticed, hindi friendly ang mga new yorkers. tama ba darbs?

    • darbs said

      @Reesie, pina-formal kunuhay. ehem.

Sa imong introduction, glad to know you experienced the open-air tour bus. What time of year? Can you still remember? e.g Summer of ____,

      Autumn of ___

      Winter of ___

      Spring of ___

      Your reaction: Dissapointed? well, hahaha!

sorry to hear that, this is all I can say, WELCOME TO NEW YORK CITY!

      Next question…

I cannot agree or disagree. What about neither confirm nor deny.

      No, they are not!
What business why should they be nice to you?
      Are you a client?
      If not?
      Then, NEXT!
Our smile is reserved for them. hehehehe!

Everyone/Visitors/Guests/ should expect FRIENDLY PEOPLE in New York City call it…Service people excellent in customer service.. sa Hotels, Restaurants, Shopping centers.

But sorry to inform you, please do not expect a smile from the people behind the subway BOOTH. Napakasungit ng mga yan. hahaha! Mga member yan ng LABOR UNION. If they don’t want to smile, then you cannot force anybody to smile. Re-education ang kailangan pero with or without the smile who cares… we don’t even deal with them.

NEW YORKERS are using METRO CARDS. – all automated.

Never, ever, have seen these clerks behind that booth smile. Never! So please don’t be surprise if you will see a smiling face. What? hahaha! call it MIRACLE. seriously. the feeling is heaven if you see one.

      • Reesie said

I was there summer. June ata yun of last year.

Hahaha.

Hahaha.

I have to stay in NY ng matagal to feel NY’s Hospitality. Hahaha. Korny joke.

        • darbs said

I was there summer. June ata yun of last year.

June 2008.

i-review ko muna ang four season dates in New York, U.S.A. parang ganito ata according doon sa listahan ko.

          a. First day of winter (December 21)
          b. First day of spring (April 21)
          c. First day of Summer (June 21)
          d. First day of Autumn (December 21)

Darn it!

Sa escalator naman dapat kung ayaw ng turistang maglakad just stay on the right side leave the left side dahil DOON ang mga New Yorker naglalakad.

Bro, welkam to Barrio Brooklyn diay na…I love how the ordinariness of your daily walk to work has sharpened awareness to pay more attention even of the less sanitized, the broken, the dilapidated, those bracketed by the prevailing institutions, the neglected – ang mga ismiringhoy sa sosyidad, ang mga dinaugdaug, ang mga pasaway, ang mga sinalikway, ang mga bulingit, ang mga palahubog, ang mga tunok sa normal na panan-awon, ang mga piskaton haha. Great enlightened post Bro. Keep it up…
